Excavation Permits

An Excavation Permit is required whenever digging in a City street or right of way. Applications for Excavation Permits can be obtained at the Public Works building at 720 West 100 North. Excavation permits require a $70.00 permit fee, a minimum cash bond of $1,000.00, and a Certificate of Liability Insurance. On large projects the cash bond amount will be determined by our Public Works Inspector or City Engineer. If you have questions or would like a complete copy of rules call 801-451-2624.
