The Farmington Youth City Council was created and established for the purpose of “initiating, recommending, planning and implementing activities and programs…which promote and enhance youth citizenship and volunteerism within Farmington City.” Members must reside within Farmington City limits and be in at least the 9th grade, but not older than 12th grade.

For questions please contact Emme Paget at epaget@farmington.utah.gov or 801-939-9226. FYCC elects its own leadership.

The swearing in date for the 2024 applicants will be on March 19th, 2024. You must be available on that date in order to serve on the Youth City Council.

The FYCC meets on the first Thursday of each month. They are deeply involved in the community. Some of their activities are helping with Festival Days and Easter Egg Hunt, helping with the Dinner Theater, ushering at plays, and volunteering at Christmas Events. They are always looking for other ways to serve and be involved in the community.
