Program Details:
In this 3 day long day camp style program children participate in a variety of sports and activities. Each day your child will have the opportunity to learn or play up to 4 sports or games. The last day of the week will consist of water activities so please have your children dress in clothing that can get wet.

Please pack a lunch each day for your child. 
Make sure they have a water bottle with plenty of water

General Description:
Music in Me is a singing group for boys and girls that provides opportunities to develop
self-confidence and team spirit through music education and performance. The focus is
on instilling positive messages through music while making friends and having fun! 

We have TWO summer camp options this year!  These are “experience” camps with no final performance, but kids will share with their peers and parents are welcome to come observe anytime.  Camp T-shirts are included!

RHYTHM & BEAT Camp (June 11-13) – We’ll use our voices, bodies, and instruments in rhythm activities & challenges.  While tapping sticks, bouncing balls, passing cups or pounding drums, kids will practice feeling a steady beat, downbeat and backbeat in various types of music.  They will also read and play simple written rhythms–a skill necessary for all kinds of musicians.

SUMMER SOUNDTRACK Camp (August 6-8) – Come sing and enjoy the timeless sounds of summer with hand jives, playground chants, and camp songs!  Soak in the season with three mornings of laughter, movement and learning in the park.

Beginner Class– Participants will learn the basics of Archery and the importance of safety

Intermediate Class – Same as beginner class with more advanced archers shooting the arrow from a further distance at times
(Beginner class is not required to have been taken to sign up for Intermediate class – Instructor will work with beginners as well in Intermediate class)

Registration for the spring season will be more limited than in past seasons. This is because we are now offering a joint fall spring registration option in the fall. Those that opted for this during fall registration will maintain their same team for the spring. Spring registration will be open to fill the spots left open by those that only signed up for the fall. The spring season will be 6 games. Jersey and Socks are $17

Fall 2023 and Spring 2024 seasons will have combined registration. Teams will be created in the fall and carry over into the spring season. Signing up will get you 2 seasons of play for a total of 12 games. There is a pricing option for only signing up for 6 games.

Equipment
Jerseys: Blue and White Reversible Phoenix Jerseys. Can be reused from year to year. If needed can be purchased for $17 when registering or at the Recreation Office.

Size 4 = 3rd Grade – 6th Grade,
Size 5 = 7th Grade – 9th Grade
Shin Guards: Required for all age groups.

Camp Info:
This camp will consist of 2 days of lessons and one track meet for a total of 3 days of activities.

Days 1 & 2:
Participants will be instructed in a variety of track and field events by the Farmington High School Track and Field Coach Ben Jacobson and his staff.

Day 3:
Each participant will select a few events to compete in for the track meet. They will compete against other camp participant of their own age. The winners of each event will receive ribbons. The meet events will be times with an automatic timer.

Each participant will receive a T-Shirt. (no size requests after 5/30/2023)
