Construction of I-15 Shepard Lane Interchange: The southbound I-15 off-ramp to Park Lane (Exit 325) will be closed nightly, Monday through Friday, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. starting Monday, Jan. 13, for up to three weeks.

The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) is constructing a new interchange along I-15 at Shepard Lane in Farmington as part of the I-15 Shepard Lane Interchange project. Nearby residents and businesses can expect daytime work Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. with night and weekend work as needed. 
Construction activities will begin in March 2024 and last through summer 2026. This work is being done to help alleviate congestion, connect communities, and improve safety for all modes of transportation. 

The southbound I-15 off-ramp to Park Lane (Exit 325) will be closed nightly, Monday through Friday, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. starting Monday, Jan. 13, for up to three weeks.
During this closure, drivers can continue south to Parrish Lane (Exit 319), turn around, and travel north on I-15 to exit at Park Lane (Exit 324).

Additional improvements will include:

  • A direct connection from 1500 West to the Shepard Lane interchange
  • Construction of a new roadway between Innovator Drive and 1500 West
  • Construction of new shared-use facilities at Shepard Lane and Park Lane
  • North- and southbound auxiliary lanes between Shepard Lane and Park Lane
  • Removal of the existing Shepard Lane bridge at I-15

UDOT has also announced the following trail closure:
Starting March 2024 and continuing through summer 2026, the Oakridge Preserve Trail along the
Frontage Road from Silverwood Drive to Shepard Lane will be closed due to construction.
