Construction of I-15 Shepard Lane Interchange Map

The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) is constructing a new interchange along I-15 at Shepard Lane in Farmington as part of the I-15 Shepard Lane Interchange project. Nearby residents and businesses can expect daytime work Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. with night and weekend work as needed.
Construction activities will begin in March 2024 and last through summer 2026. This work is being done to help alleviate congestion, connect communities, and improve safety for all modes of transportation.

As early as Monday, April 8, crews will begin installing structural supports or piles for the new North Station Lane bridge over I-15. This work will involve driving steel into the ground to provide stability and support for the foundation of the bridge. Those living near the project may experience increased noise and vibration for up to three months while this work occurs. Pile driving activities will occur Monday through Friday between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Additional improvements will include:

  • A direct connection from 1500 West to the Shepard Lane interchange
  • Construction of a new roadway between Innovator Drive and 1500 West
  • Construction of new shared-use facilities at Shepard Lane and Park Lane
  • North- and southbound auxiliary lanes between Shepard Lane and Park Lane
  • Removal of the existing Shepard Lane bridge at I-15
