FARMINGTON FIRE DEPARTMENT NOW HIRING $67,435.00 - $100,450.00 / Year DOE Apply at www. farmington.utah.gov FIRE CAPTAIN AEMT/PARAMEDIC (FT) JOB SUMMARY: Our Fire Captains oversee and direct firefighters to ensure quality work and accurate reports. They serve as incident commander on fire and medical calls. They follow and enforce department policies, procedures and protocols, and also make recommendations for employment advancement, retention and discipline. They are directly responsible to help their shift feel respected and valued. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:FIVE (5) current/consecutive years of employment as a full-time firefighter Fire Officer I Certification Valid Utah Driver License Advanced EMT or Paramedic License State Wildland Firefighter I Certified Must pass a thorough background investigation Agree to a 1-year probationary employment period BENEFITS: Comprehensive Benefit Package Including: Medical, Dental, Vision and Mental Health Services Tuition Reimbursement$1,000 Wellness Benefit Additional benefits upon appointment** If an employee opts out of medical or dental insurance, Farmington City will put the single rate amount into a 401(a) for the employee.
