Attention everyone: Please be advised that starting Saturday, April 5th, the highlighted section of the road on the map (Main Street/600 N) will be closed for up to 30 days.
We understand this is a major disruption for thousands of us. We do not close this road lightly – it is crucial for replacing the extremely old water main underneath the road. It is at the point where it simply must be replaced.
The nearest detour utilizes the Frontage Road on the East side of I-15 and State Street. Do no attempt to utilize local roads to bypass it – they do not connect. Access to homes in the directly affected area will still be available.
